Series: DMC 4
Materials:
- JLS 2020 Motor-driven Airsoft model
- Silver/black spray paint bottles
- Sage and Blue Delta Craft paints
- Childrens Crayola paintbrush
Money: $30 (gun) $5 (paint etc)
Time: 8 hours total
I have been totally freaking out about finishing this. =T I had the gun for about 2 weeks and just spent an hour spray-painting it silver 2 days ago. Got the paints for fabrication today and mindlessly spent 6hours drawing, painting & refining the vine work shown. I still have the entire other side to do tomorrow night.
It's absolutely ...no where.. near perfect, but it's satisfactory with my budget and time-limit (must be complete by this weekend). I had to improv at least 30% of the design due to model difference and low image quality. I'll most definitely do plenty of touch-ups after the convention this weekend, but I just wanted to have a convincing prop for just one day at least. :E
I'll be posting 30+ WIP and close-up shots taken from tonight on my [LiveJournal] in the next 15 minutes or so, too.
