After working on this one, I've come to realize why the only 2 people who have drawn Affinitie (shown here) for me have been thru Trades. I understand that she is difficult to draw, so that's what makes her so unique in my personal opinion.I had a really hard time deciding on which of my characters this should be. Cause honestly, I could have be any of [them]. After narrowing it down to the characters from my anthro manga (contradictory aiy?) story "Broken" I decided on the most neglected (all of them are tho ;_; ) Affinitie - [her reference]. I havn't drawn her in almost exactly a year now. But the actual basis in this image was merely to try out some of my new FaberCastell colour pencils and inking pens. I really didn't even use them much considering I tried out entirely new colouring techniques instead. Thru the process of working on this for almost 8hrs...I also hurt my hand. x.x;;
A majority of the inspiration was from a song. (partial lyrics are below)
